Founded by Tetsu Ikuzawa, a motorsport legend and a pioneer of mountain biking in Japan, Team Ikuzawa is one of the most iconic names in Japanese racing. A visionary driver, Ikuzawa made his mark at the 1964 Japanese Grand Prix, at Le Mans, Nürburgring… and with teams such as Porsche and Lotus F1.
Today, his daughter Mai Ikuzawa keeps the family legacy alive. Under her direction, Team Ikuzawa has evolved into a modern cultural brand at the crossroads of sport, art, design and luxury.
Seen at prestigious events such as the Goodwood Revival or the Baja Mexican 1000, the brand embodies a rare balance: tradition and avant-garde, loyalty and boldness.
In the 1990s, Team Ikuzawa also made waves in downhill mountain biking, creating their own team and securing a historic double title in Japan in the early 2000s. The collaboration produces two exceptional pieces — the R-Core® X jersey and trousers, in limited edition. An evolution of the iconic R-Core line, this X version pushes performance even further: 4-way stretch materials, lighter fabrics, optimised finishes… for lighter, more precise, more efficient equipment.
